Prepare for birth, build lifelong friendships, and step into parenthood with confidence through our warm, evidence-based antenatal classes led by an experienced midwife.

We are committed to offering evidence-based and comprehensive education to help individuals and couples gain a deeper understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, fostering confidence and preparedness. We aspire to bring about impactful change by empowering parents with the tools they need for a confident and joyful transition into parenthood.

Our mission is to empower and educate, equipping parents with the essential tools and unwavering support they need. By providing a trusted space where questions find answers and fostering a sense of support, we aim to enhance the well-being of both parents and their children.

2-DAY WORKSHOP

Our antenatal education class is delivered in two sessions:

Session 1: Saturday, 12.00 - 4.00 pm

Session 2: Sunday, 12.00 - 4.00 pm

We believe with two sessions it gives you time to digest the information and return with questions you think of, and build a relationship with your teacher and classmates where you feel comfortable asking questions.

We then, with your permission, create a group where yourself and your classmates can continue supporting each other and built a support system for maternity leave and beyond.

We group classes based on estimated due date so everyone is in the same stage of pregnancy and can be involved in a nurturing community during your pregnancy and beyond.

These classes aim to provide information, support, and preparation for pregnancy and childbirth, helping parents make informed choices and navigate the challenges and uncertainties of becoming parents. Our classes are run by midwives, providing only evidence based education, in a warm, nurturing and safe space.

By providing only evidence based information, Ask the Midwife equips parents to be with the not only just evidence based information, but the encouragement to be an active participant in their healthcare.Studies have shown that participation in antenatal education classes can lead to better birth outcomes, including reduced rates of interventions and caesarean sections, and improved satisfaction with the birth experience.
