Join us for a relaxed and interactive antenatal breastfeeding workshop designed to help you feel confident and prepared for your feeding journey.
This evidence-based, practical session explores what to expect in the early days and weeks of breastfeeding, offering realistic insights and hands-on guidance. Together, we’ll cover:
• The importance of those first feeds and how to get breastfeeding off to the best start
• Comfortable and effective positioning and latch techniques
• Antenatal colostrum harvesting and its benefits
• How and when to hand express
• Common challenges/ worries and practical solutions
You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, practise techniques, and gain confidence in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed, or are simply exploring your options, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and reassurance you need to make informed decisions for you and your baby.
To make the morning extra enjoyable, we’ll also be providing tea, coffee, and light refreshments - a chance to relax, chat, and connect with other expectant parents.
