Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! Mats and blankets are provided. If you prefer to use your own, feel free to bring anything that makes you comfortable.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that allow you to move and relax.
Can I come alone? Do people come with friends?
Both! Some people come solo, some bring friends. Everyone is welcome, and the space is warm and inviting—never worry about joining alone.
About Your Teacher:
Laura is a yoga teacher and Ayurvedic postpartum doula in training, offering gentle, holistic support for women through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. With over 585 hours of accredited yoga training—including specialist prenatal and postnatal studies—Laura brings a grounded and nurturing presence to her classes.
Rooted in the Ashtanga tradition and inspired by her Indian and Irish heritage, Laura blends tradition with softness, creativity, and soulful care. Her nervous system–informed, heart-centered approach emphasizes rest, ritual, and embodied practices that help women feel safe, supported, and empowered.
At Ask the Midwife, Laura leads Mothers’ Circles, prenatal yoga, mom-and-baby yoga, and Ayurvedic approaches to pregnancy and postpartum. She creates inclusive spaces where women can reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner wisdom—and be gently reminded that they are never alone on the journey into motherhood.
